Coronavirus Tips You Can Depend On
Thanks to the spread of coronavirus in Washington DC, everyone is feeling a little more on edge considering we don’t’ know what will change day-to-day. The good news is there are still things everyone can do to help limit the spread of this pandemic. Make sure to stay informed on the latest developments while adhering to the following tips provided by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), which include but aren’t limited to:
- Wash the hands: Hands spread germs more than any other body part. As such, wash the hands with soap and water to limit the spread. Be sure to follow the CDC recommendation of a minimum of 20 seconds at a time, especially if you’ve left the home recently.
- Remember the sanitizer: In addition to washing your hands, you can also make use of sanitizer to remain protected. Be sure your sanitizer choice contains at least 60% alcohol to help prevent coronavirus.
- Maintain self-isolation: Stay home as much as possible. If you do go out, be sure to follow the guidelines of six feet of distance between you and the next person. This will help limit the spread of coronavirus in Washington DC.
- Clean the home: Germs stay on the surface long after you’ve left the area. That’s why taking the time to sanitize and disinfect the home is necessary. A good rule of thumb is to follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
